A massive casting! Well finished and obviously being a BMW part fitted perfectly. Fitting wasn't easy and it was a swine to get into place having loosened the under seat plastic but eventually it went in - more by luck than judgement. You can just tighten the bolts (using the original ones) by bending the undersea plastics out of the way. Not ideal but it is now in place and looks good. Shame they don't do a black one as my bike is the triple black!
