Original BMW Motorcycle Brake Pads

Brake pads are an essential part for your BMW motorcycle. To guarantee your safety, it is important to choose them well as well as to check their condition on a regular basis and change them preventively. At BMW Europe Moto we have decided to offer only original BMW Motorrad brake pads to equip your motorcycle. We believe that it is not advisable to install parts other than original, especially to guarantee efficient braking without surprises.

Front brake pads:

In general, BMW motorcycles are equipped with 2 front brake discs. It is recommended to change the front brake pads at the same time. You must therefore buy 2 sets of front brake pads to replace them.

Rear brake pads:

The rear wheel is always equipped with a single brake disc so to replace it you only need to buy one set of pads for the rear.


Original BMW Motorcycle Brake Discs

Just like the pads, the brake discs are an essential part for your BMW motorcycle. It is essential to check the condition of your brake discs when changing pads in order to determine whether or not the brake discs on your BMW motorcycle can hold sufficiently. In general, it is necessary to change your brake discs every 2 brake pads change.

You can also change your brake discs yourself, but be careful to tighten the brake disc to the torque recommended by the manufacturer. 

When changing the brake discs, it is recommended to change the brake pads at the same time.
